SURFING THE WEB
with Groundswell Surf Shop
No one likes becoming a human icicle when trying to fight off the elements in every day life situations.
Look no further with Rip Curl's range of Anti-Series garments. Whether you're a jacket or a fleece kinda-person, they have you covered with the highest quality pieces that are bang on trend. If your'e a surfer, you'll relate to the feels of having that icy rain tingle on the back of your neck after those cold-water surfs, or that brisk offshore literally blowing you away.
Why Anti-Series? This is why:
1. DWR treatment. This is the best water repellent for eliminating water absorption and keeping you 100% dry.
2. Bonded fabrics. Each seam is laminated, creating ongoing thermal support.
3. Performance rib panels. Panels are sewn under the arms to enhance movement and allow you to breath, ensuring total comfort.
4. Welded zips. These prevent water absorption and streamline your performance.
5. Chin guard. This raised hood opening offers wind protection, whilst preventing irritation and zip catching.
6. Elastic hood cords. These are thin, remove excess bulk and enhance your protection against the elements.
Still not convinced? Try one of these babies on in store and then decide which color you prefer.

These fins are taking the surfing world to a whole new level with their innovative shape and unique functions. The journey of creating these began through interactions via social media. Philippe Gray-Lopez discussed this new design with Twig and the building process began from there. A prototype was built based on a concept fin and further adjustments were made.
The trial period was necessary in reaching the perfect fin. The exact amount of flex was determined, various foils were tested for different wave sizes and the final shape was eventually decided.
Still in two minds about these "out of this world" looking fins? Currently endorsed by the likes of Tom Curren and Mason Ho, the potential with these babies is insane. S-Wings fins have won various awards since launching in 2014/2015.
We offer a range of sizes and they are available in twin tab (FCS) and single tab (Futures) setups. Check out some videos of these fins in action on YouTube, as well as via the social media channels of their riders. Visit us soon to see them for yourself!

Based on the fact that a large percentage of humans in the universe are connected via the interweb, Groundswell has decided to give it a try. We have been in Ballito for what feels like forever, but we're reaching out to the world beyond our physical reach, in order to grow our online presence.
The internet is a scary place, though. Being new to the blogosphere, I will try my absolute best as an inexperienced writer, to be as informative as possible. The content on the blog will vary, but will be centered around current products, news updates and surfing in general. Our aim is to keep Ballito, as well as our community worldwide, stoked on surfing. The goal is to establish Groundswell as an authority and a trusted source of information.
Blog posts will be consistent with two posts per week. Regular discussion and commenting is encouraged, in order to create an interactive community support system. Links to the website and blog will be provided via our social media channels.
So, what do you wanna see first on the blog? Please leave some suggestions in the comments below.
